Animal Management Software

Over the years I have built a number of systems to manage laboratory, wild and rescue animals. Though each application is unique and tailored to a group's particular needs, by focussing on animal management, I have been able to build a catalogue of tools, components and techniques which make it cost effective to deliver, meaning savings for the customer.

I focus on workflows and making the software as easy and intuitive to use as possible.

Some features include:

• Built as a web app and therefore available for use at home, in the lab, etc.
• User management (create and remove users, reset passwords, etc)
• Flexible tables - filter or sort on any field, edit table in place or in a separate details screen
• Charts/plots
• Date and partial date entry tool - if you don't know a date, eg a birth date of an animal, you can enter just the year or the year and month
• Calendars, schedules and notifications
• Smartphone support with push notifications
• RFID (chip or earmark) support and integration with readers
• Multi-language support and light and dark mode
